Good for you. I know how you feel. I wrote my first slate poem four years ago and just got my copy a few days ago. I look forward to reading ‘What the horses heard’ because I’ve so enjoyed all your others – both poetry and fiction.

    • Mavis, thank you and I sooo look forward to seeing you and Jan’s Slate book myself. I would so like to be at the launch up there in Scotland.Bet its going to be a wow. (I think our books must have been in the very same print run)

London first, Becky on the 19th May; then Wales on 21, 22 and 23 May (Blaenau, Machynlleth and Bangor) Then Slate Islands June 14 – 19th – 2 evenings, 3 poetry walks and a workshop. I wish you could come to one of them – it’s time we met!

    • Sorely tempted to come to Slate Islands (it has to be there really) but I have to give a Horses talk in Exeter on the 19th, and am having a wee holiday in Cornwall till 14th…. oh, oh, oh….. I’d be stretching it…. probably just can’t….

And I can’t get to yours either. One of these days we’ll have to have a really big get together with lots of Cinnamon writers in a place that’s fairly central. Now wouldn’t that be grand?
