Liar Dice won the Cinnamon Press Novel Writing Award in 2010 and was published by Cinnamon Press in 2011. It made The Guardian’s list of Good Reads in Dec, 2011.

‘I enjoyed and admired Liar Dice very much. Gethin has a real talent for unfolding a story and for controlling (and taking the reader with her) through shifts in narrator’s voice, shifts to and fro in time. The descriptive patches are vivid, but economical in poetic effects – the place where a lot of poets come to grief in their forays into prose. And such interesting characters, set against a dark background that have been researched thoroughly but not obtrusively.’
